Psalms 38:9 – You know what I long for, Lord, you hear my every sigh.
Have you ever been dealing with a difficult situation in life that you find yourself out of tears or words?
I have and my only response seems to be is letting out a small “sigh”.
This often happens when we need to be still and let God work out a situation in His timing.
Or, perhaps the situation is final and there really are no options, such as in the death/separation of someone/something you love.
You may have cried and prayed over the situation for days, months or years and the tears and words have long since dried up and all you have left is the sigh.
It had never occurred to me that my sighing was a way to connect with God.
He hears me, He hears my prayer even in my sighing!
Such a little thing, but it is so important to Him that He listens for how we breathe!
