Hello! I’m Karen

Licensed Professional Counselor

Many of us come to a point where we feel stuck in life. We struggle too much, often with ruminating thoughts of doubt about ourselves. We have felt diffferent from others due to a reaction in our brain and body, such as anxiousness. For many trauma has affected our relationships lacing them with fear and distrust.

You are not alone in this. Many of the same things have been a part of my life experience.

My Approach

I provide mental health counseling in Fort Worth & on-line in the state of Texas.  I work with relationships, trauma, anxiety, grief & ministry/spiritual hurts. I use a narrative or person-centered approach that allows the voice of the person to tell their story. Every person’s story is unique and deserves to be heard. In therapy we discuss the hard and easy, the negative and the positive parts of your life, while learning  techniques and coping mechanisms to move you to a healthier life.  Often, growth is 2 steps forward, 1 step back – & that’s okay – you will get there.

Do you control your emotions or are your emotions controlling you?

Do day-to-day tasks feel unmanageable, or are you constantly stressed?
